Miranova 1 Women’s Event for Jennifer Brunner and Barbara Sykes -- Columbus, Ohio

On a warm fall evening, we made the short drive from our office to the Miranova Towers. Takeysha Sheppard and Loann Crane had teamed up with a number of other women to throw a women's event for Barbara Sykes and Jennifer Brunner. The event was held in the first floor library and reception room of the Miranova residences in Tower 1. There were splendid wines and scrumptious foods, as one might expect for a women's event. Our candidate, as well as Barbara Sykes, spoke to the crowd and gave very different speeches. There were only 3 or 4 men in attendance, and after having heard both Barbara and Jennifer speak, your correspondent began to wonder if they "dumbed down" their speeches when they're speaking to groups where there are more men? Again, we were among the last to leave the event, and we were able to catch a quick bite to eat on this warm autumn evening.
