East Side of Columbus, Ohio

While our candidate attended three different candidate forums, your correspondent and our candidate's mother, Barbara Gates, attended a fundraiser on the east side of Columbus. It was held a wonderfully sumptuous home and there was good food provided by our hosts. Both Barbara Gates and your correspondent ended up speaking. Your correspondent then spent about 45 minutes answering questions from the attendees at the event. Eventually, we were able to wrap up the day and make our way home to a good dinner before we resumed the night's labors and the travels that had to be undertaken. Your correspondent was off to Lisbon, Ohio and our candidate off to Steubenville, Ohio. In the short 16 days until the election, there is so much to do and so little time in which to accomplish it.
